Meet the Staff
Keith Hall
Executive Director
Keith has a long history in the marching arts. He was a band director for nine years in Mississippi and Florida. He was a staff member of Sky Ryders, Cadets and Magic of Orlando. He started The Band Hall band uniform manufacturing company in 1997. He founded Music City Drum Corps in 2009 and served as director through 2017. And Keith served as drum major of the very first Memphis Blues in 1980.
Paris Foreman
Corps Director/Brass Caption Head
Paris is originally from Orlando, Florida. He has over 30 years of experience in drum corps and music education. He has served on the staff of multiple groups including Caption Head and Designer. He is currently serving as the Director of the Performing Arts Center for Biloxi Public schools as well as the Marketing Director for the RWS Music Company. Paris is also an officer in the Army National Guard.
Mason Hill
Percussion Caption Head
Mason lives in Hernando, Mississippi where he serves as the percussion instructor at Hernando High School. Mason marched in Atlanta Quest and Santa Clara Vanguard where he received the Fred Sanford Best Percussion Performance Award. He has also taught at Atlanta Quest and Music City Drum Corps.
Donovan Sisco
Color Guard Co-Caption Head
Donovan is a native of Memphis. He attended Middle Tennessee State University where he was a member of the Band of Blue. He has also performed in Madison Scouts, Eklipse Winterguard, Lexis World and Etude World. He has instructed numerous groups throughout the South and Midwest. He currently resides in California where he teaches at Golden Valley High School.
Mara Funk
Color Guard Co-Caption Head
Mara lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She marched two years with Spirit of Atlanta and numerous years with Paramount World. Mara has taught at multiple organizations including Paramount World, Reverie A/Open/World, Fishers HS, Duluth HS, Mill Creek HS, and many more. In her free time she enjoys laying by the pool, her cat and riding a good roller coaster.
DJ Fitzgerald
Visual Caption Head
DJ is a resident of Hernando, Mississippi. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Bands at Hernando High School where he directs the Hernando Marching Band, Hernando Indoor Winds and the 8th Grade Concert Band. DJ recently served as the Visual Caption Head at Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps, winning the DCI Open Class bronze medal in 2023. He holds his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Mississippi.
Jeff Gentry
Program Coordinator
This is Jeff’s 40th year in the marching arts. He played soprano in Phantom Regiment, Star of Indiana and Garfield Cadets. He has designed or taught for Bluecoats, Troopers, Glassmen, Academy, Dutch Boy, Avon HS, Carmel HS, Fishers HS, Brownsburg HS and Center Grove HS.
Dr. Jeremy Smith
Music Designer/Percussion Arranger
Jeremy is a composer, theorist and educator whose works have been widely performed and published through RWS Music. He has worked with a number of pageantry groups, including Music City Drum Corps, Chattanooga Independent, Southwind Drum Corps, Clarksville Audio Theatre and the University of Alabama Million Dollar Band. As co-owner of SouthCoast Music & Design, he has designed and arranged nearly 200 productions across more than a dozen states. Jeremy is the Executive Director of the Shoals Symphony at UNA and a part-time professor at both the University of Alabama and the University of North Alabama.
Trevor Rundell
Brass Arranger
Trevor is the director of bands at Bartlett High School. A graduate of Tennessee Technological University, he oversees Bartlett’s marching band, concert bands, jazz bands and private lessons program. Under his leadership, Bartlett’s marching band has achieved numerous Grand Championships, BOA regional medals and was named the BOA Memphis Regional Champion and a Grand National Semi-Finalist in 2023. Trevor also serves as the lead winds arranger for SouthCoast Music & Design, contributing to several state championships and Bands of America accolades.
